Upon completion of signing up and paying the enrollment fee, students need to do the following:

As part of the 250 hours of Related Supplemental Instruction (RSI) - Classroom instruction of Theory during the 2 years. To learn to have a good understanding and be ready to take the State Board Written Exam*.

REQUIREMENT #3
On-The-Job Training:
After the Apprentice License is issued, the apprentice needs to start working in the approved shop with their trainer full-time 32-40 hours a week over 2 years. The trainer is to keep track of the student's hours and operations on the Barber's OJT log sheet. This is one of the unique aspects of the apprenticeship program because our students can be making money while getting training on the job.
